Western Galvanisers was established in 1984. It is a privately owned company specialising in hot dipped galvanising for client supplied steel items. The business operates from an 8000 square metre site in O’Connor.

We have a fleet of trucks covering pick up and delivery in the Perth metropolitan area, Mandurah and surrounding areas and also South West areas including Bunbury, Busselton and Margeret River.

In 2004 Western Galvanisers commenced a Work Safe Gold Awards program to improve our working environment and training to ensure a safer workplace for our staff.

[28 Mar 08]: Greener Galvanising

We've started an evaluation of our green credentials with the aim
of becoming a greener and cleaner zinc based galvanising
company.

[28 Mar 08]: New factory

Commenced building new factory to be commissioned Christmas
2008. This will incorporate state of the art fume control of the
pickling solutions plus fume treatment of galvanising bath
effluent. Factory will have more capacity due to extra hoists and
loading capacity due to modified factory design.

[17 Feb 05]: New Galvanising Bath

Western Galvanisers commissioned a new hot dip galvanising bath of 9.5 metres long by 1.5 metres wide by 2.5 metres deep and installed it at the beginning of January. It enables us to galvanise much bigger articles and items than we were previously able to do, such as re-enforcing mesh sheets, boat trailers and light poles.

Our new web site is now live. Whitespace Studios were commisioned to make it.
